The Session
Your feet are placed in a warm salt bath with an array placed in the center of the bath and lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour (your feet will actually be submerged in the water for 30 minutes). Your only job is to relax and let the process take place. The clear water will then change color as your toxins are released from your body.

Universal Contour Wrap

The Universal Contour Wrap™ exfoliates and cleanses your skin, detoxifies your body, tightens loose tissue and guarantees you exceptional and lasting inch loss. It is excellent for reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks.   The Sea Clay is used to detoxify the body through the skin. As the skin is the largest organ of the body, through osmosis it is able to absorb healing qualities of the sea clay through the pores while releasing harmful toxins. This is not a new technique, as early as the 1500's sea clay and other sea derivatives were used as medical therapies to treat Rheumatoid arthritis and for general health rehabilitation. The Universal Contour Wrap works by opening the skins pores and drawing out toxins and impurities from the skin and the soft tissue layers below the skin.
The treatment works by compressing the soft tissue with elasticised cotton bandages, using special wrapping techniques that 'lift' and 'shape' the body and flattening bulges, whilst the Sea Clay works to cleanse the body. The treatment will take approximately 2 – 3 hours from start to finish, and you will be measured before & after the treatment so that inch loss can be calculated. The Golden Moor Story

Golden Moor began in 1987. It was founded by Marc Saint-Onge (of Ottawa). Initially, Saint-Onge started the company in his home, using a a washing machine to mix ingredients. After an extensive search of 63 bogs, Marc discovered a bog in Casselman, for which he has a 25-year contract for extraction rights.

Today, a staff of 18 is busy keeping up with the international demand; Golden Moor exports to 17 countries, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore and has captured 80 per cent of Canadian spa market.

The mud in our Canadian bog in Casselman holds a superior quality due to the high levels of humic acids. These humic acids aid in preventing arthritic and rheumatic pain and gives the body a sense of well-being.

Moor properties have been well known in Europe and Asia for sometime, but the ever increasing growth in population has created pollution and as a result their bogs have become affected. These countries must import moor to supply their demand.

Today the demand for higher quality of life, the increase in stress and an aging population brings the birth of a new global approach to health care giving with more emphasis on natural treatments.

It is through that perspective that Golden Moor was founded in May of 1987, in the Outaouais region. As an Orthotherapist Marc Saint-Onge knows the virtues of moor since he has used it on his patients for many years. He has invested time in research and development to produce an efficient health product based on the therapeutic ingredients of the bog.
About Golden Moor Mud

The Golden Moor Bog is located in Casselman, Ontario, Canada, a small village situated 50 kilometers from Ottawa in a valley. The quality of the moor in this area is of higher quality than any moor used elsewhere in the world.

The Golden Moor source is one of the rarest of the world that has not been tampered by men or contaminated by modern day pollution. Furthermore it is preserved by Canadian government laws. The Golden Moor mud is extracted during the winter months at a depth of 5 to 15 meters under the frozen surface where the thermal current circulates constantly. The most important characteristics of the moor is that it is hydrosoluble, liposoluble, holds a high level of humic acid, salicylates, phytohormones, and a 5.5 pH balance.

After extraction the moor is verified and analyzed in an outside laboratory to ensure quality and equilibrium in its therapeutic values. Once at our facility, we use specialized equipment that ensures filtration, homogenization and pasteurization of the Golden Moor products.
